Delete Your Meika-chan: Anime Community Account

Option 1 — Delete via the App (Recommended)

1. Open the Meika-chan: Anime Community app and sign in to your account.
2. Tap your profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Tap the ⚙️ Settings icon in the top-right corner.
4. Scroll down and tap “Delete Account”.
5. Read the confirmation screen and tap “Confirm Deletion”.
6. Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Option 2 — Submit a Deletion Request by Email

If you no longer have access to the app or your account, you can request deletion by emailing our support team:

support@meikachan.com

Please include the following in your message:

• Subject line: “Account Deletion Request”
• Your registered email address or username
• Reason for deletion (optional)

We will process your request within 30 days of receipt and send a confirmation email when complete.

What Gets Deleted

• ✓Your profile (username, bio, profile photo)
• ✓All blog posts and drafts you have created
• ✓All comments and reactions
• ✓Bookmarked locations and posts
• ✓Wall posts written by or about you
• ✓Follows, followers, and connection data
• ✓Push notification tokens
• ✓Location contributions pending moderation

What May Be Retained

We may retain a limited amount of data where required by law or for legitimate operational reasons — such as transaction and purchase records, moderation logs, and abuse or safety reports. This data is kept only as long as legally necessary and is not used to identify or contact you.

Anonymized, non-identifiable analytics data may be retained to improve the app experience.

Deletion Timeline

All account data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted within 30 days of receiving a verified deletion request.
